Competitions

List of Competitive Events

The table below displays all the FBLA competitive events; its purpose is to display which events one can choose from. In order to make your decision, please fill out the google form here

Useful Notes:

  • (I) means an individual competition, while (T) indicates a team competition. (C) indicates a chapter competition, i.e. an event where the FHS FBLA chapter as a whole, not just a person or people, competes.
  • Some competitions will allow either individual entries or team entries. Team entries should have up to three people each.
  • The Current Number of Entrants indicates the number of individuals or teams who are interested in competing in a competition (regardless if they paid their dues or not).
  • If a competition is unavailable because the number of slots has been filled, it will be striked out.
  • Some events are only for certain grade levels; e.g. all the "Intro to X" competitions are for 9th to 10th graders.
  • Not all competitions are available at the regional level; those that are are labeled "All." Events labeled "States/Nat'l" are available at the two upper levels. Events labeled "States" or "Nationals" are available at their respective levels only.
  • * The event has changed from last year, e.g. because of a name change.
  • ** The event only allows teams of two or (in case of Parliamentary Procedure) five people.

State Project Deadlines

So, as you all know we have some upcoming deadlines, specifically for state projects. State projects should be completed by January 20-23. If club members would like to receive feedback from the E-Board or from other FBLA members, the state projects should be completed and sent to the E-Board by January 13-16. All competitions are to be submitted online (except for scrapbook). Please be on top of your projects and get them ready as soon as possible. Procrastinating will only hurt you in the long run!
